The Master of Science in Biology program at the TUM School of Life Sciences is a research-oriented graduate program designed to provide broad and in-depth expertise in modern biological sciences. Students can specialize in at least three focus areas from a selection that spans molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, evolutionary ecology, and applied biological topics. The program includes more than 200 elective modules, allowing for individual specialization. Language of instruction is German or English, or a combination, depending on chosen modules. The program prepares graduates for research careers in academia and industry, as well as roles in food, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors, and public institutions.
