The Master of Bioinformatics Research Extensive at The University of Queensland is aimed at graduates from biological sciences, computing, or mathematics who wish to deepen their technical and research capabilities in bioinformatics. The program is research-intensive, requiring the completion of an extended independent research project, and provides the opportunity to tailor studies through over 20 advanced courses across bioinformatics, molecular biology, statistics, and computer science. Graduates are prepared for careers in bioinformatics, data science, and related scientific fields, or for further research study.
