The Master of Occupational Hygiene at The University of Queensland is designed for science, engineering, and health science graduates. The program provides comprehensive skills to identify, apply, and manage workplace health hazards, including chemical, physical, ergonomic, biological, and emerging risks such as nanotechnology. Accredited by the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists, the curriculum includes theoretical courses, practical training, and a research project to enhance skills for improving and controlling occupational health standards at the workplace. Graduates are prepared for leadership and specialist roles in occupational hygiene across diverse industries. The program can be commenced in either semester, and is taught at the St Lucia campus.
