The Bachelor of Health Sciences at The University of Queensland is a broad-based degree providing comprehensive understanding of human health at multiple levels—from biological and biomedical sciences through to public policy. Students select one of three specialisations: Clinical Health, Nutrition, or Public Health. The program prepares graduates for both clinical and non-clinical health careers, with options to continue into postgraduate coursework such as Medicine, Dietetics, or Public Health. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based health care, public health theory and practice, nutrition science, and the socio-political context of health.
