The Bachelor of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences at The University of Queensland (UQ) offers a comprehensive education in health, nutrition, exercise, and human movement. Students gain theoretical and practical skills to address leading risk factors for chronic disease – physical inactivity and poor nutrition – and are prepared for careers promoting healthier communities. Majors allow specialization in nutrition sciences, sports coaching, or sporting cultures. The program includes up to 50 hours of supervised industry placement in the final year, applying learned knowledge to real-world settings. Graduates are eligible to pursue postgraduate studies in areas such as dietetics, medicine, physiotherapy, audiology, public health, and more.
