Personal Statement: Statement of Purpose (can be uploaded to the application) - We ask that you write an essay to tell us something about yourself and the experiences which have helped to shape you, as well as your life's goals and professional aspirations. Include an indication of your preferred area of specialization in the civil engineering field (Applied Fluid Mechanics, Construction Materials, Construction Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Transportation) and expand on your interest in this area. Recommendation Letter: MS applicants are required to submit two (2) references; PHD applicants are required to submit three (3) references.
