Case Western Reserve University’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences offers a nationally ranked Master of Social Work (MSW) program preparing students as change leaders. The program can be completed on-campus in full-time, part-time, or weekend formats, offering flexible options, including the Weekend Experience for working professionals. Students select from multiple paths of study—such as Mental Health, School Social Work, Children and Families, and more—and complete 500 (Advanced Standing) to 900 (Traditional) hours of supervised field education. Graduates are trained to address individual, family, community, and systemic challenges. Admission is open to those with a bachelor’s degree; applicants with a Bachelor of Social Work can qualify for the Advanced Standing track. The program features a blend of theoretical, research-based, and hands-on learning experiences.
