The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University, is a highly ranked undergraduate nursing program in the United States (#9 in 2025 per U.S. News & World Report). The program is designed for direct admission—no second application or pre-nursing requirements. Students begin nursing courses and get hands-on clinical experience as early as the third week of their first semester, offering almost twice as much clinical exposure as most nursing programs. Clinical hours are completed at nonprofit agencies or local world-class hospitals. The program aims to develop clinical skills, critical thinking, and leadership necessary for professional nursing practice.
