The Bachelor of Arts in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Case Western Reserve University's College of Arts and Sciences is an interdisciplinary program that develops students' critical and creative thinking by exploring gender and sexuality in global contexts. Coursework covers feminist and queer theories; social constructions of gender, race, and class; transnational perspectives; and intersections of identity. Students engage in research and build skills applicable across fields like public policy, social work, advocacy, and social justice. The major consists of at least 30 credits, including required introductory and breadth courses, as well as electives spanning the arts, humanities, and social sciences. The program is designed to be flexible and can be combined with other majors or minors.
