The Master of Arts in History and Philosophy of Knowledge at ETH Zurich is an interdisciplinary graduate program designed to analyze the social, historical, philosophical, and technical conditions under which knowledge is produced, transformed, and disseminated. The curriculum integrates perspectives from history, philosophy, literature, cultural studies, and science and technology studies, preparing students to critically evaluate diverse forms of knowledge and their societal impacts. Specializations are available in Philosophy, History, and Science of Literature and Culture. Graduates develop skills to communicate complex issues clearly, preparing for careers in academia, journalism, policy consulting, and museums.
