EPFL’s Bachelor of Computer Science program provides comprehensive training in all key aspects of modern computer science. Students receive strong foundations in mathematics, information science, systems architecture, databases, and programming languages. The first year is shared with Communication Systems, exposing students to fundamentals in mathematics, computer science, and information science, including a hands-on project in their intended field. Over the next two years, students deepen their understanding of computer science and can select courses in advanced topics such as computer security, theory of computation, and data-intensive systems, as well as broaden their skills in physics, mathematics, and life sciences.
