The Master’s program in Data Science at the University of Zurich’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics prepares students to analyze, interpret, and derive insight from large and complex data sets. The curriculum covers advanced methods in data management, algorithms, statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and the ethical dimensions of data analytics. Students develop the ability to independently tackle novel data-driven challenges and design or deploy appropriate analytical systems, drawing from interdisciplinary approaches (statistics, informatics, cognitive sciences).
