The Master’s program in People-Oriented Computing at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics, University of Zurich, focuses on the interaction between people and computers, emphasizing user-centered design, usability, and the societal and organizational impact of informatics. Students deepen knowledge from their Bachelor's studies, learning to analyze complex, non-standard problems, acquire new knowledge independently, and design advanced IT systems with people at the center. Graduates are equipped for roles such as project manager, interaction architect, analyst, or consultant, and are also well-prepared for doctoral study. The curriculum consists of a 90-ECTS major (including electives and a master's thesis) and a 30-ECTS minor chosen from related disciplines.
