The Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine at the Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Zurich, is the undergraduate phase of a 5.5-year integrated program in veterinary medicine. It is structured in modules across six semesters, totaling 180 ECTS credits. The curriculum combines foundational scientific education in the first year with increasing veterinary-specific sciences and clinical exposure in subsequent years. Emphasis is placed on competence-based learning objectives, practical and clinical skills training, and preparation for the profession in compliance with EAEVE standards.
