The Master of Global Challenges for Sustainability at Utrecht University, delivered under the CHARM-EU alliance, is an innovative, transdisciplinary programme. It prepares students to address urgent sustainability challenges through an international, hybrid curriculum experienced across several top European universities, including Utrecht. The curriculum covers themes such as water, food, energy, life & health, and sustainable cities, with training in handling real-world problems from intercultural and multi-stakeholder perspectives. The programme includes an internship phase in the second year and concludes with a collaborative capstone project addressing a major sustainability issue.
