The Master of Public International Law (LLM) at Utrecht University prepares students to address complex legal issues at the international level. The programme offers three specialisation tracks: Human Rights, Oceans, Environment & Sustainability, and a flexible path where students can craft their own curriculum. Through multidimensional teaching—including moot courts, case studies based on pending legal proceedings, and research training—students develop not only comprehensive academic knowledge but also practical legal skills. The curriculum is taught fully in English and closely integrates Utrecht Law School’s leading research centres, affording strong links to international courts and institutions.
