The Master’s program in Pedagogical Sciences: Orthopedagogiek at Utrecht University’s Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences is a Dutch-taught degree designed to train graduates as scientist-practitioners in the field of orthopedagogy. The curriculum connects current scientific research with practical issues in child, youth, and educational development, focusing on diagnostic assessment, intervention, treatment, and counseling for youth and families facing developmental, behavioral, and educational challenges. The program teaches both advanced theoretical foundations and practical clinical skills, preparing students for roles in education, youth care, or further doctoral research.
