Utrecht University offers the broadest Biology programme in the Netherlands, coordinated by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science. The programme provides a strong foundation in fundamental concepts and research methods in Biology, with opportunities for students to customize their studies through elective themes: Genes to Organisms, Molecules and Cells, Molecules and Medicine, and Biophysics and Modeling.
