Stony Brook University's MBA program prepares students for advanced management roles in business, government, and nonprofit organizations. The general MBA is flexible and can be completed either on-campus, hybrid, or fully online. There are two tracks: a 36-credit program for students with a business background, and a 48-credit program for students from non-business disciplines. The curriculum combines core topics such as finance, accounting, marketing, operations, leadership, and business analytics with electives tailored to career goals. Graduates enhance their business knowledge, leadership skills, and professional networks. No residency is required for the online MBA, and classes are offered in fall, spring, winter, and summer terms.
