The Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam is a joint programme with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The programme covers the characteristics of materials and their interactions, offering training in all core areas of chemistry: organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and biochemistry. Students gain a strong scientific foundation and practical research skills. Instruction is primarily in Dutch, though much educational material is in English.
