The Bachelor of Natural & Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam’s Faculty of Science is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program coordinated by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies. It combines the core principles of natural sciences—such as biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences—with analytical and methodological insights from the social sciences. This curriculum is designed to prepare students for complex societal questions that require both scientific and social perspectives.
