The AUC Pre-Law Track is an undergraduate curriculum pathway at Amsterdam University College (AUC), delivered in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam (UvA) Faculty of Law. The track integrates core and elective law courses to prepare Dutch-speaking students for legal careers in the Netherlands. Upon successful completion, students can enter the one-year ‘Civiel Effect’ Fast-track Law Bachelor (LLB) at UvA, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) in one additional year. This, when combined with a relevant Dutch law Master's, grants the mandatory 'civiel effect' qualification required for admission to the bar and legal professions in the Netherlands.
