Monash University's Bachelor of Criminology and Policing is a three-year undergraduate program designed in partnership with Victoria Police. In this unique pathway, students complete the core requirements of the Bachelor of Criminology during the first two years, covering crime, its causes, criminal behaviour, and justice system responses in local, national and global contexts. In the second year, students may apply to become a police officer via Victoria Police's standard recruitment. Successful applicants complete a Diploma of Policing at the Victoria Police Academy in the third year, gaining paid, practical training while continuing criminology studies online.
