The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Environmental and Climate Solutions) is designed to prepare students as 21st-century environmental engineers capable of developing sustainable solutions to major challenges such as climate change, resource security, and environmental protection. Students gain skills to develop real-world solutions informed by industry needs, including climate adaptation, renewable energy integration, food/water security, pollution mitigation, and resilient infrastructure. The program offers flexibility to specialise via majors in Climate Solutions, Renewable Energy, or Smart Technologies, or minors in Humanitarian Engineering or Entrepreneurship. Graduates complete at least 96 units (with up to 78 units core courses and 18 units electives/major/minor), and must complete 8 weeks approved practical engineering work placement. The degree is accredited by Engineers Australia, conferring professional membership eligibility.
