The Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Public Health) at The University of Adelaide is a comprehensive undergraduate program that covers the fundamentals of human anatomy, public health, pathology, physiology, pharmacology, health promotion and epidemiology in the first two years. In the third year, students specialise in Public Health, focusing on developing practical skills to measure the health of populations, understand social, cultural, and economic factors that influence health, and devise strategies for health promotion and education both in Australia and globally. Graduates emerge with a strong foundation to address contemporary health problems and pursue careers in healthcare, public health, community health, and health administration, or proceed to postgraduate study.
