Harvard Law School (HLS) and Harvard Business School (HBS) jointly offer the JD/MBA program, which integrates legal and business training and is designed for students seeking careers at the intersection of law and general management. The program spans four academic years (rather than five if the degrees were pursued separately) and requires full-time, in-person study. Students spend their first two years enrolled separately at each school and their final two years enrolled in courses at both HLS and HBS. The curriculum includes required seminars, professional responsibility and pro bono components, and opportunities for elective and practical coursework. The program is highly selective, admitting about 10 students per cohort.
