The Master in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Barcelona, is a two-year, full-time program entirely taught in English. The program is designed to train students in theoretical and empirical methods for analyzing real-world economic problems and conducting independent research. The curriculum provides solid methodological foundations in economics, economic theory, mathematics, statistics, and econometrics, with a focus on developing analytical and research skills for careers in academia, research institutions, or the private/public sector. The program is internationally recognized and draws a diverse cohort. Approximately half of graduates progress to doctoral studies.
