The Master in Advanced Immunology at the University of Barcelona offers an in-depth training in the cellular, molecular and physiological basis of the immune system. The program covers applications of immunology to biotechnology, medicine, veterinary science, and biomedical research. Students can enroll in two specialized tracks: Immunobiotechnology and Research, or Advanced Immunopathology. The program is interuniversity (including the Autonomous University of Barcelona), collaborating with regional research institutes. It provides a strong foundation for research or professional work in academia, clinical settings, and the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. Language of instruction is mainly English and Spanish (67% English for Immunopathology, 50% for Immunobiotechnology). Graduates are eligible to continue towards doctoral studies.
