The Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner (MS) program at Northeastern University's Bouvé College of Health Sciences prepares registered nurses to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based primary healthcare to individuals and families across the lifespan. The program uses a hybrid format combining online coursework with two on-campus clinical intensive weekends and includes 720 hours of mandatory clinical experience. Graduates are prepared to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses, and are eligible for national FNP certification. Leadership, evidence-based practice, and advanced patient care skills are core focuses, positioning graduates for roles in primary care, clinics, hospitals, and community health settings.
