The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Criminal Justice is a combined major offered by the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and another college at Northeastern University. This interdisciplinary program is designed for students seeking expertise at the intersection of business practices and the criminal justice system. The curriculum covers core business administration topics—such as accounting, finance, management, marketing, and strategic decision-making—and integrates them with a solid foundation in criminal justice, including courses such as Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminal Due Process, Criminology, and Criminal Justice Research Methods. Students also choose from electives on current issues like the death penalty, human trafficking, and corporate/white-collar crime. The program includes at least one required experiential learning component, typically fulfilled through Northeastern’s cooperative education (co-op) system. Graduates are prepared for a range of careers in business, public administration, and law enforcement sectors. A total of 128 semester hours is required to graduate.
