The Master of Public Health at the University of Wollongong (Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health) is a fast-track postgraduate program designed for graduates wishing to develop advanced public health knowledge and skills needed to address contemporary global health challenges. The program includes four core subjects and allows selection of electives/specialisations in areas such as Social Systems, Big Data, Indigenous Health, Public Health Practice, Public Health Research, and Climate & Environment. Students learn to develop, analyse and implement policy, plan and evaluate health services, and undertake a guaranteed work placement for practical experience. Graduates emerge equipped for careers in research, health policy, consulting, and health program management in a variety of settings.
