The Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Auckland is a flexible and advanced postgraduate program designed for students who already hold a law degree. The program offers over 30 taught courses, allowing students to specialise deeply within a legal area or take a broad array of subjects. The LLM can be completed entirely by coursework, by research, or a combination of both. Students have the option to include up to two courses (30 points) from other faculties for interdisciplinary study. All students develop advanced research skills through a legal research methodology course. The programme is open to both full-time and part-time students, with entry available throughout the year. Study is offered on the Auckland City Campus, New Zealand.
