The BA/BSc conjoint programme at the University of Auckland enables students to study toward both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science simultaneously over four years. Students develop advanced quantitative and qualitative skills, combining subjectivity and objectivity, creativity and critique. The flexible structure allows for a custom degree plan from a wide selection of majors: History, Physics, Communication, Computer Science, Māori Studies, Marine Science, and various foreign languages. Graduates gain analytical, numerical, and communication skills, understanding the cultural, societal, and historical context of scientific discovery. Admission typically requires meeting University Entrance standards and maintaining a Grade Point Average of 3.5 annually; most students need a General Education course and must satisfy the Academic English Language Requirement.
