The Professional MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is an accelerated, course-only Master’s program designed for advanced entry into the industry. Students choose a technical focus area such as Computer Engineering and complete a professional development component, such as an internship or independent project. The curriculum is built to deepen technical expertise and develop applied problem-solving skills, with no thesis requirement. The program is STEM OPT eligible and admits only for the Fall term, with all courses taught in person.
