The Bachelor of Music (B.M.) degree at the College of Fine Arts, The University of Texas at Austin, offers an in-depth and professionally oriented curriculum in music composition and performance. Students receive rigorous training in composition across various styles including orchestral, choral, chamber, electro-acoustic, and film scoring. Performance components require participation in ensembles and private instruction on the principal instrument.
