The Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program (INP) at Yale University offers interdisciplinary and flexible training in neuroscience, covering cellular, molecular, physiological, computational, and behavioral neuroscience. The program is designed primarily as a PhD track, with the MS degree (理学硕士) awarded only to PhD students who complete all requirements except the dissertation, and is not offered as a standalone/terminal program for direct admission. The curriculum is tailored for research excellence with strong faculty mentorship, coursework in fundamental and quantitative neuroscience, and extensive laboratory rotations. Research areas include neural development, neurobiology, neural computation, and systems neuroscience.
