Yale University’s MBA/MF Joint Degree, offered by the Yale School of Management (SOM) and the Yale School of the Environment (YSE; formerly School of Forestry & Environmental Studies), is designed to prepare leaders with an integrated understanding of business, markets, and environmental management. Established in 1982 as the first management-environment joint degree, the program develops graduates skilled to address the complex interfaces between business and sustainability. Students complete one year at Yale SOM for the integrated MBA core, one year at YSE with MF requirements, and a third year taking electives at both schools. Graduates receive both degrees at the end of three years.
