The Five-Year B.A.-B.S./M.P.P. program at Yale University's Jackson School of Global Affairs allows highly motivated Yale College students to earn both an undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.) and a Master in Public Policy in Global Affairs in five years. Students are selected via competitive admission during their junior year and begin master's-level coursework in their senior year while completing their undergraduate major. The program includes a multidisciplinary curriculum covering the social sciences and humanities, core courses in methods, economics, history, and comparative politics, a required modern language proficiency, a leadership and ethics training workshop, and an approved internship or policy project. In the fifth year, students are in full-time residence at the Jackson School and deepen their expertise through advanced coursework and faculty mentorship designed to prepare global leaders in government, international organizations, and the private sector.
