Yale School of Art’s MFA program is highly selective, admitting students annually for full-time graduate study in one of four areas: Graphic Design, Painting/Printmaking, Photography, or Sculpture. The curriculum is structured around studio and seminar work, fostering individual practice, critical thinking, and experimentation. All MFA students participate in group and solo exhibitions, engage with visiting artists, and complete a thesis project. The program culminates in a thesis or exhibition relevant to their field.
