The Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Psychology at Yale University is an interdepartmental major offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). The program is designed for students who want to integrate the study of computer science with psychology. It emphasizes the intersection between technological and psychological perspectives, with each field providing tools and theoretical frameworks for addressing problems in the other, such as those encountered in cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and biological perception. The curriculum requires a total of fourteen term courses (excluding prerequisites): eight in computer science (covering foundational as well as advanced AI courses), and six in psychology (including statistics, research methods, social and natural science perspectives within psychology). All students must also complete a senior research project.
