The Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs at Yale University's Jackson School of Global Affairs offers a multidisciplinary education to understand and address global challenges. The program integrates coursework from political science, economics, history, and area studies, training students in analytical frameworks needed for global leadership. Students select one of two tracks—International Development or International Security—and study topics such as economic development, poverty, public health, international relations, diplomacy, human rights, and global policy. The curriculum, updated for 2025, requires 13 courses, an L4 non-English language, and a senior thesis or capstone. The program emphasizes language proficiency, overseas experiences, internships, and research. Graduates pursue careers in diplomacy, international organizations, business, NGOs, and research institutions.
