The Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry (MB&B) program at Yale College provides undergraduate students with an in-depth understanding of the molecular and chemical basis of biological processes. The B.A. degree offers a strong biochemistry and biophysics foundation while allowing greater flexibility for studies outside the major. The B.S. degree is ideal for students with a strong interest in research, providing intensive laboratory and research experience during junior and senior years. Both tracks are suitable for students planning to attend medical school or pursue graduate studies in related fields. Students take core and advanced courses covering biophysics, biochemistry, laboratory skills, and electives in quantitative reasoning and natural sciences.
