The Bachelor of Arts in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies (TDPS) at Yale College offers a robust liberal arts foundation emphasizing both practice and theory across theater, dance, and performance. The program is interdisciplinary and global in outlook, encouraging students to explore performance as a method of artistic, cultural, social, and political expression. Students complete core and elective courses in artistic practice, interarts, histories, and performance theory, culminating in a senior project. The curriculum fosters collaboration, creativity, and analytical skills, preparing graduates for further study or careers in the performing arts. No audition is required for admission to the major; students apply to Yale College and may declare the major after enrollment.
