UC Berkeley's College of Letters and Science does NOT offer a terminal Master of Arts (English) program. Instead, students interested in advanced degrees in English literature must apply to the Ph.D. program. The Ph.D. curriculum covers all historical periods of British, American, Anglophone literature, and critical/cultural theory. An M.A. in English may be awarded upon completion of specified Ph.D. requirements. There is no independent application or separate cohort for the MA. 来源： https://writing.berkeley.edu/sels
