The Berkeley Haas MBA/MPH Concurrent Degree is a highly selective 2.5-year (30 months) program jointly offered by the Haas School of Business and the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, admitting around 20 students annually. The curriculum is fully integrated: students take both MBA and MPH courses each semester, completing a minimum of 80 units (45 MBA, 32 MPH, 3 electives) and participating in two full-time summer internships. The program cultivates business management knowledge alongside public health expertise, preparing graduates for leadership in industries such as healthcare delivery, insurance, biotechnology, consulting, pharmaceuticals, startups, and social impact. Coursework includes a 12-course MBA core, 'Healthcare in the 21st Century', applied innovation, as well as required MPH classes in policy, management, and economics. Students benefit from both schools' career services, elective flexibility, and an extensive alumni network.
