The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science at the University of California, Berkeley, College of Engineering is a multi-departmental, interdisciplinary undergraduate program focused on the integration of physical sciences, mathematics, and engineering. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for advanced study or diverse professional careers by offering four structured majors within Engineering Science: Engineering Mathematics and Statistics, Engineering Physics, Energy Engineering, and Environmental Engineering Science. Students acquire a robust grounding in engineering methods and natural sciences, which offers a broad set of opportunities in advanced studies, green technologies, research, and industry. This program is administered by the Engineering Science Committee comprised of faculty from seven engineering departments, as well as mathematics, statistics, physics, chemical engineering, and chemistry.
