UCLA’s M.Ed. in Student Affairs is a one-year, cohort-based professional master’s housed in the Higher Education and Organizational Change (HEOC) division and offered collaboratively by the School of Education & Information Studies (Ed&IS) and the UCLA Division of Student Affairs. The program prepares early‑career professionals for student affairs roles across public and private universities and community colleges, emphasizing student development theory, foundations of higher education, student affairs administration, research, assessment, ethics, and a social justice perspective.
