UCLA Luskin’s MRED is a STEM-designated, practice-oriented, one-year graduate program housed in the Luskin School of Public Affairs (Urban Planning) with coursework drawing from UCLA Anderson School of Management, UCLA School of Law and other campus departments. It emphasizes interdisciplinary, industry-collaborative training to prepare graduates for roles in development, finance, investment, asset management and consulting, with a focus on creating equitable, resilient and sustainable communities. The inaugural cohort begins Fall 2025, with extensive engagement through case studies, site visits, competitions, mentoring, internships and networking via UCLA’s real estate ecosystem (e.g., Ziman Center).
