UCLA’s interdisciplinary Physics and Biology in Medicine (PBM) graduate program—housed in the David Geffen School of Medicine and affiliated with the Division of Physical Sciences—trains students in the physics, engineering, mathematics, and biology underlying modern radiological imaging and radiation therapy. The program offers CAMPEP-accredited training tracks in Therapeutic Medical Physics, Medical Imaging, and Molecular Imaging & Theranostics, preparing graduates for clinical residencies and research careers; a non‑accredited Molecular & Cellular Oncology track is also available.
