UCLA’s Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology (IBP) offers a two‑year M.S. program in Physiological Science that emphasizes three components: (1) rigorous laboratory research training with IBP faculty mentors; (2) coursework that deepens knowledge of the scientific method, analytical tools in physiology and biology, and science communication; and (3) training as science educators through course‑based and practical teaching exercises.
